Cecco d'Ascoli, medieval philosopher, scientist, and poet, was a maverick figure, forgotten by history for his revolutionary ideas. Spazio Taverna celebrates this figure with a project by Enzo Cucchi, which interprets Cecco's spirit and the genius loci of Forte Malatesta. Cucchi's work, which inaugurates Ascoli Contemporaneo XXI, includes ten ceramic sculptures and paintings that fill the central space of the Forte, creating a dialogue between history, art, and architecture, and recalling the roots and contradictions of the past.
