Art Crossing is a project exploring the dialogue between art and archaeology, with six artists invited to intervene in the Appian Way Park. Each work, the result of a collaboration with archaeologists, reflects on the concept of ruins and the relationship between history and modernity. Flavio Favelli and Diego Miguel Mirabella rewrite the narrative of ruins, while the other artists (Lulù Nuti, Giulio Bensasson, Alessandro Piangiamore, Namsal Siedlecki) reinterpret the historical material, creating works that reveal new functions and meanings.
